SUMMARY:
Tasked with creating a hotel retail store that catered to the specific needs and preferences of its customer base, I designed a thoughtfully curated shop for The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel.
The space offers clothing, accessories, essentials, and miscellaneous products, all carefully selected based on the hotel’s clientele. The layout is minimal yet stylish and functional, allowing guests to explore and shop at their leisure without feeling rushed or crowded like in some other retail establishments.
PROCESS:
The first step was identifying the frequent and returning clientele of The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel. I then conducted further research into their purchasing habits, how they spend their leisure time, and the types of places they enjoy visiting. Based on this information I selected appropriate paint colors, materials and created the layout to create a spacious, cohesive and inviting store environment that clients would find memorable and would want to revisit.
