SUMMARY:

Tasked with creating an exhibit that highlighted the success and career of an artist, I chose to focus on Ridley Scott, the British filmmaker behind the Alien movie franchise, who has consistently produced visually stunning films throughout his career.

The exhibit was designed as an interactive maze, allowing visitors to explore freely, discover interesting facts, view authentic movie props, and watch previously lost interviews. At the center of the exhibit is a large prop that represents a key element of Ridley Scott’s legacy. The environment is dark, primarily lit by neon LED lights to evoke a sense of mystery, with fog added to further immerse visitors in the Alien universe.

PROCESS:

The first step was to determine the story I wanted to tell. I aimed to make the visitors feel as though they were discovering something new around every corner, similar to the experience Ridley Scott created in his 1979 Alien film. From there, I identified the objects, visuals, and information that would be relevant and significant for the exhibit. I also designed invitations and a poster for promotional purposes.
