SUMMARY:

Our team of four was tasked with redesigning the Fotografiska gift shop to create a better shopping experience that matches the museum’s modern, art-focused brand.

We worked on several elements, including new window graphics, branded merchandise, a redesigned catalog, a new checkout counter, and a website. The goal was to make the space more engaging and visually connected to Fotografiska’s identity, while making it easier for visitors to shop and take home unique items that reflect the museum’s art and culture.

PROCESS:

To start, we researched Fotografiska’s brand and the type of visitors it attracts. We wanted to make sure the shop felt like an extension of the museum and offered products that would appeal to its audience. We redesigned the window graphics to grab attention and showcase the shop’s best products. For the merchandise, we selected and designed items that reflected Fotografiska's artistic and modern style.

We also redesigned the catalog to make it clean and easy to navigate, while the new checkout counter was designed for a smoother customer experience. Finally, we worked on the website to make it match the store’s new look and feel, ensuring it was easy to browse and shop online, just like in the store. Throughout the process, we focused on creating a cohesive, stylish retail space that would connect with visitors and reflect the museum’s artistic vision.
